**Weather suspended - game considered complete by PIAA with 9:02 remaining**
Palmyra's season came to an abrupt end with 9:02 remaining in the 4th quarter of their first-round game. The Cougars trailed 9-10 to Mt. Lebanon when a lightning storm rolled through, delaying the game and inevitably being considered complete by the site manager and the PIAA. Yes, a state championship tournament game was not allowed to finish to completion and the team leading by one at the start of the delay was considered the winner and allowed to advance to the quarterfinals. It was an unimaginable ending to an incredible season.
