2019 Season highlights

PIAA 3A State Championship - (20-3)

Palmyra's season came to an abrupt end with 9:02 remaining in the 4th quarter of their first-round game.  The Cougars trailed 9-10 to Mt. Lebanon when a lightning storm rolled through, delaying the game and inevitably being considered complete by the site manager and the PIAA.  Yes, a state championship tournament game was not allowed to finish to completion and the team leading by one at the start of the delay was considered the winner and allowed to advance to the quarterfinals.  It was an unimaginable ending to an incredible season.

PIAA 3A District III Champions

Palmyra (#3 seed) defeated Red Lion, Wilson (#2) and defending state champion Manheim Township (#1) en-route to their second PIAA District III Championship.  This time for the Cougars it was in the 3A classification - their first year in the highest level.  They maintained a high level of intensity throughout the championship game and never trailed the Blue Streaks on their way to a 8-7 victory.
